JOHNSTOWN, PA (April 7, 2009) Tickets will go on sale this Friday morning for “FISTS OF THUNDER II”, an outstanding evening of world class professional boxing set for Saturday, May 2nd at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena in Johnstown, PA.

“FISTS OF THUNDER II” is presented by Chet Koerner’s TKO BOXING Promotions, curators of the highly acclaimed national boxing series “HOMETOWN HEROES TO WORLD CHAMPIONS” and Team Taylor Made Boxing in association with Rezk Medical Supply

Starting at $22, tickets can be purchased starting this Friday, April 10th, in person at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena Box Office or by phone at 800-243-8499. They will also be on sale locally at Giant Eagle Super Markets (Richland and West End) in Johnstown . Doors on the evening of the event will open at 6:00pm with the first bell at 7:30pm. The Cambria County War Memorial Arena is located at 326 Napoleon Street in Johnstown

Featured at “FISTS OF THUNDER II” will be the pride of Johnstown , PA , world ranked cruiserweight Andres “ TAYLOR MADE” Taylor . Quickly running his record to 7-0 with three knockouts since turning professional one year ago, Taylor is coming off a terrific decision win over Detroit ’s Larry Carter on March 7th in York , PA.

In his last local appearance, Taylor won the WBF America’s Cruiserweight Title with a crushing first round knockout of Philip Jewel on January 24th at the War Memorial Arena.

Also featured at “FISTS OF THUNDER II” will be undefeated featherweight prospect Carney “BEEPER” Bowman of York, PA. Sporting a record of 13-0 with five knockouts, Bowman returns to action following a terrific performance in an eight round decision win over Jesus Perez on March 7th.

Said Koerner, “Both Bowman and Taylor are on the cusp of great things in 2009 and this event will give the terrific fight fans in Johnstown an opportunity to see them continue on their path towards becoming world champions. The May 2nd event is TKO BOXING Promotions’ first event in Johnstown and just as we’ve done all over the country, we're bringing an outstanding, action packed professional boxing card to local fight fans.”

The undercard at “FISTS OF THUNDER II” will include former world title challenger Anthony “THE MESSENGER” Thompson, former amateur standouts and highly regarded prospects Mickey and Cortez Bey of Cleveland, Ohio, outstanding Pittsburgh, PA prospect Jesse Lubash and heavy hitting female sensation Terri Blair of Louisville, Kentucky.
