TERRI BLAIR VS. ADELITA IRIZARRY ADDED TO STACKED
“FISTS OF THUNDER II” JOHNSTOWN, PA CARD THIS SATURDAY NIGHT

Junior welterweights Terri “ROAD WARRIOR” Blair and Adelita Irizarry will square off in a scheduled six round bout at “FISTS OF THUNDER II”, an evening of world class professional boxing this Saturday night at The Cambria County War Memorial Arena in Johnstown, PA, it was announced today by Chet Koerner, President of TKO BOXING Promotions.

“FISTS OF THUNDER II” is presented by TKO BOXING Promotions, curators of the highly acclaimed national boxing series “HOMETOWN HEROES TO WORLD CHAMPIONS” and Team Taylor Made Boxing in association with Rezk Medical Supply.

Said Koerner, “These are two of the toughest women in boxing and I’m proud to have this bout join an already action packed card. Terri is coming off a great win over Jill Emery in California in December and also holds two wins over Sumya Anani. She truly has earned her nickname fighting on the road throughout most of her career.”

Also included in the list of other world class fighters that Blair has faced in her seven year career are; Holly Holm, Jessica Rakoczy, Mary Jo Sanders (twice), and Molly McConnell (twice). She brings a record of 10-13-2 (6KO’s), into the battle with Irizarry.

Fighting out of Hartford, Connecticut, Irizarry has amassed a pro record of 6-2-0 (2KO’s), since making her debut two years ago. She is riding a two bout winning streak, most recently taking a four round decision over Yvonne Reis last August.

“Adelita has only been fighting as a pro for two years, but she jumped at the chance to face Terri. The fight fans in Western Pennsylvania are in for a terrific bout between these two women” added Koerner. “A win for either one sets up a bigger fight and that puts a lot a stake on Saturday night for both of them.”

“FISTS OF THUNDER II” is headlined by an outstanding cruiserweight battle featuring the fighting pride of Western Pennsylvania, Andres TAYLOR MADE Taylor and Philadelphia slugger Simon Carr.

Also featured on the card will be junior middleweight contender, Anthony “THE MESSENGER” Thompson who will square off against Washington State veteran Luis “EL Lobo” Lopez.

Sensational lightweight prospect Terence Crawford will see action in a four round bout against Miguel Delgado.

Starting at $22, tickets for “FISTS OF THUNDER II” can be purchased in advance at The Cambria County War Memorial Arena Box Office or by phone at 800-243-8499. They are also on sale locally at Giant Eagle Super Markets (Richland and West End) in Johnstown.
